Anybody that takes the time to train hard in order to compete in a sport will like to have images of themselves during a competition or event. I've covered many sporting events including Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, the Bing Blazer and the Scottish as well as the European Tae-Kwon Do Championships where I had a team of photographers working over the 4-day event.
With regards to payments, we can do a pay-per-image model where I do the shoot for free and then sell images at a fixed price each, but I increasingly find that people are less and less willing to buy images in this way so the jobs become unsustainable. My preferred method of working is to arrange a set fee with the organisation beforehand and then all images are supplied to you for free distribution to your competitors. This way I know what fee I'm getting for the job and your competitors don't have to pay for images. A small increase in the entrance fee will cover this charge for you and it's a big promotional point that competitors get all images for free.
Prices can vary depending upon the size of the sports event and the time you require a photographer. Additional photographers can be supplied if your event is large.
All prices include ALL of the images supplied in high-resolution digital format, copyright free, supplied via an online gallery.
Price includes travel within a 30-mile radius of Bathgate, Scotland. Travel outside of this area will be calculated and added to the price.
